husband out of town, I called Leslie for help with our busy household. Upon arrival, she immediately went to work taking
care of our toddler, 9 month old baby, 3 other school-aged kids, while I was outside managing
a rear yard landscape project. The kids were comfortable with her from the start. When I came into the house to
meet her for the first time, she was feeding the 2 babies their breakfast and the 3 other kids also looked settled and happy.

"Leslie was a tremendous help during the labor and birth of our first
baby, Leila. From the first time I talked to her on the phone, I felt comfortable and at ease with her personality and
knew she was the one I wanted at our birth. Starting weeks before the birth, Leslie visited us at home to review our
birth plan and make sure she knew exactly how we envisioned the experience so she could assist in making it everything we
hoped for. We planned on using the Hypnobirthing method and having a natural water birth
at South Coast Midwifery. Leslie was very familiar with the Hypnobirthing method and was more than helpful and supportive
of the things we wanted when it came time. She called me several times before to see how I was feeling. Leslie
was always available to me when I had questions or just wanted to share how my check up went. The morning I went into
labor, Leslie came over as soon as we were ready for her. She helped time my contractions and let us know when it was
time to head over to the birth center.
Leslie was by my side the entire labor and delivery, suggesting positions, massaging me, fanning me, holding my hand, and
coaching me along. She stayed calm the entire time and calmed me down when I needed it. We had an incredible birth
experience and I am already looking forward to doing it again. Leslie came and checked on us after the birth to make
sure we were getting settled with our new baby and doing well. She is very knowledgable about baby care and had advice
